New product launch: Remote Power Kit – Metering Switch

Xtellio is launching Remote Power Kit – Metering Switch, a new solution designed to give rental businesses and service teams better visibility into energy use while enabling remote power control. The solution makes it possible to remotely switch connected units on or off and monitor actual power consumption in real time, helping reduce unnecessary site visits, improve control, and support more efficient energy management.

Remote Power Kit – Metering Switch is built to help companies monitor and manage power-consuming units directly at the source. Installed between the power supply and the connected equipment, the plug-and-play solution makes it easy to start measuring energy use and remotely controlling power within minutes.

The solution is housed in a rugged, IP65-classified enclosure built for reliable performance in demanding environments. It combines a utility power meter, a 40A power contactor, an Xtellio Metering Xense – Contactors, and an Xtellio Gateway Xentral to measure consumption, enable remote on/off switching, and transmit data automatically to the Xtellio Cloud via the built-in mobile connection.

In addition to power metering and remote switching, the solution can also be configured with GPS location data, making it easier to track units across jobsites and other distributed locations. All collected data can be accessed in Xtellio’s applications or integrated directly into existing software platforms through Xtellio’s cloud-based APIs.
