With these insights, it's easy to spot where you can reduce energy use and cut costs. The Xtellio Metering Xense and Gateway Xentral make this possible. Some Metering Xense variants even support proactive energy management—letting you remotely disconnect entire groups directly from the electrical panel.
How it works
The Metering Xense connects to your utility meter via a wired M-Bus or digital input to capture real-time energy consumption data.A nearby Xtellio Gateway Xentral wirelessly collects the data and sends it to the Xtellio Cloud. From there, you can monitor energy usage through Xtellio’s apps—or integrate the data into your own platforms, like Power BI, using Xtellio’s APIs.
Available variants
Standard
Get full visibility into your energy use. This variant connects directly to your utility meter and transmits real-time data—via the Xtellio Gateway Xentral—to the Xtellio Cloud.
Contactors
In addition to meter data, this variant allows you to connect to a contactor—giving you the ability to remotely control larger electrical loads like HVAC systems or heaters.
Pulse Latching Relay
This variant connects to a pulse latching relay, letting you switch power on/off with minimal energy use. Ideal for maintaining state during outages or in low-power applications.

Gateway Xentral
Can be paired with up to 10 Xtellio Xenses, from which it collects data and transmits it to the Xtellio Cloud.
The Xtellio Picco mobile app (iOS & Android) is your on-the-go companion, simplifying installation and pairing through QR code scanning. In Picco, you can verify data values, view GPS-equipped devices on a map, and quickly access device info by scanning QR codes.
Xtellio Butler
– Device management web app
The Xtellio Butler web app helps you manage your devices and users. Get a complete overview of device health, battery status, and recent measurements—all in one place. You also get a convenient map view of all devices transmitting a GPS location.

– Seamless integration
Easily integrate Xtellio data into dashboards or tools like Power BI by accessing our API documentation in the Butler app under 'Integrations'.

Subscription:
You subscribe to Xtellio’s Xentral-type devices. The subscription includes SIM and mobile data, as well as Xtellio Xervices—providing access to the Picco and Butler device management apps, Xtellio Cloud, and API documentation for seamless integration with your own systems.
BASIC
Subscription yearly: 36€
Basic tier is for customers wanting to start with a simple solution. We send data once per day—how you manage and use it is up to you.
BUSINESS
